Our winery
Our winery is in Winningen on the Terraced Mosel, just outside Koblenz.
Winegrowing has been part of our family tradition for centuries, with the earliest records dating back to 1604. In 1919, my great-grandfather Richard Weyh founded our winery when he began bottling and marketing his own wine.
Then as now, the vineyards of Winningen are the foundation of our wines’ outstanding quality. Nothing is more precious to us than the soil in which our vines grow. Our wines owe their exceptional character to the unique climate of the Terraced Mosel, its fine slate soils and carefully chosen grape varieties.
After a long ripening season and careful tending, our grapes are harvested by hand and brought to the cellar in autumn.
In the cellar, we handle the grapes gently and with care. Quality grows in the vineyard and is shaped and refined in the cellar. During winemaking, we focus on preserving each variety’s characteristic aromas, the influence of soil and climate, and the distinctive qualities of each vintage. All these elements come together in a good glass of wine. We promise you pure enjoyment.
