Wine diploma at Weingut Weyh – three-day programme

Weinerlebnisse Mosel

Explore the world of wine in depth with this programme. Enjoy an informative and entertaining introduction to the distinctive wines of our winery.

After checking in at a hotel in the Lower Mosel region, enjoy a relaxed evening meal in the restaurant.

The next morning, meet your walking guide at around 9.30 am to explore Winningen’s beautiful vineyards. Learn about steep-slope viticulture and walk through Röttgen, one of the Mosel’s finest vineyard sites. As the slopes become gentler towards the end of the walk, take a short tour of Winningen before visiting the Wine and Local History Museum, which offers an insight into the lives of winegrowers in earlier times.

Then head to the winery, where we welcome you with a glass of wine in our cosy tasting room. After the walk, it is time for a well-earned meal.

For lunch, we serve a platter of assorted cold cuts and cheeses. Having learned how the wines are made, you can now discover their range of flavours in a tasting. Red or white, dry or lusciously sweet – every wine has its own character, and you choose your personal favourite. Each participant receives an individual wine diploma at the end of the day.

On the third day, take the opportunity to visit beautiful Koblenz. The Deutsches Eck is an outstanding photo stop, while the winding streets of the old town and the gardens along the Rhine are equally inviting. You can also take the cable car across the Rhine. The views over the Rhine Valley from Ehrenbreitstein Fortress are magnificent.
