Regent
Regent is a rising star among red grape varieties. This modern crossing has a promising future. Its wines stand out for their deep colour, almost shading into black, with aromas of cherries and blackcurrants. They are usually fully fermented, full-bodied wines with a noticeable tannin structure. Regent is ready to enjoy relatively early and pairs well with a hearty platter of salami and mature mountain cheese. It also complements richly flavoured meat dishes with concentrated sauces, roast leg of lamb and game.
